The FA Women’s National League Cup First Round concluded on Sunday, seeing Cheltenham Town and Swindon Town progress into the Second Round.
Cheltenham Town would beat Southampton 2-1 at home to get to this point, as Louise Apuusi and Libby Bell scored the goals to see the Robins through to the last 16 for the first time in their history.
Swindon, however, would welcome Actonians, with Town also getting two goals in the first half, with Annie Colston and Libby Davies getting their names on the scoresheet.
Both sides will go into the Southern Section of the draw, potentially facing each other for the first time since 2022, in which Cheltenham came out on top through a Jade Grove injury-time winner.
