The second day of the Cheltenham Festival features seven more races take place, with the first one starting at 1:30. You’ll be able to watch it on ITV, who will have full coverage of this afternoon’s races, and we’ll also be providing updates on our live blog.
The Conditions
The ground has been changed to ‘good to soft, good in places’ and it’s expected to remain dry and sunny for the duration.
What should we expect?
Our reporter Patrick Baines is at the racecourse:
“This is the best day of the festival for me, with four Grade One races including the two-mile Champion Chase where the fastest jumpers will go for the prize.
“There are also some great handicaps including the Coral Cup which looks to be a really competitive renewal this year.
“The weather is perfect, the sky is blue and I’m really looking forward to another day of racing.”
