What are the bookies saying?

The January Transfer Window is a minefield of gambling potential. So its no surprise that the ‘bookies’ have been keeping a close eye on all transfer rumours to provide punters with the latest and greatest in transfer odds.

One of the most eagerly anticipated January moves is the potential joining of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal. There have been questions asked for weeks about the likelihood of the Dortmund forward joining the gunners, however can we find the answer we’re looking for in the prices the bookies are offering?

Well according to SkyBet, Aubameyang is less than even money to join Arsenal at a price of 4/6 while you can pick up 11/10 on the forward staying in Germany. So as it stands the bookies are suggesting that Arsenal will add to their attacking line by the time the window closes.

Staying on the subject of Arsenal. Striker Olivier Giroud has been heavily linked with a move away from the club should Aubameyang come in, at this point it is 4/1 for Giroud to end up at Borussia Dortmund whether that be loan or transfer. Chelsea is another potential destination which is at 6/1 but the price looks set to fall if Arsenal complete the signing of Aubameyang. Giroud is tipped to remain at The Emirates however with bookies pricing that at 4/11.

Elsewhere there has been a lot of talk linking Edin Dzeko with a possible move to Chelsea which has become increasingly more likely over the last few days with the price falling to 6/5. However Dzeko is still less than even money to stay at Roma at 8/13.
