WATCH: Bristol City’s academy products are starting to seriously impress

After selling two academy products in Bobby Reid and Joe Bryan in the summer, two more are being linked with the Premier League this week. Liverpool and Tottenham are reportedly after left-back Lloyd Kelly, and Manchester United have been rumoured to be lining up a bid for young striker Antoine Semenyo, who’s currently on-loan at Newport County.

Lee Johnson has previously said that he wants to “build and nurture a group of bright, young, hungry footballers who are committed to improving the fortunes of both themselves and the club.” This suggests that he may be reluctant to sell his young stars, but you’d have to think that they’d accept an offer if the right bid came in.

Our ParkLife reporter Adam Goodwin spoke to Bristol Post reporter Gregor MacGregor about the youngsters coming through the ranks at Ashton Gate.
