Team news: Anglo-Welsh Cup final

Bath Rugby take on Exeter Chiefs in the Anglo-Welsh Cup final at Kingsholm on Sunday with Matt Banahan returning to the starting lineup for Bath. It will be a chance for the Jersey boy to add to his 95 tries for Bath.

Bath have made three changes to the side that saw of Northampton Saints 13-12 last Friday at the Recreation Ground.

The other two changes come in the backline with fit again Freddie Burns and Kahn Fotuali’i replacing Josh Lewis and the injured Chris Cook.

England international Charlie Ewels captains the side in the second-row and is joined in the back by Tom Ellis who was David Flatman’s player of the semi-finals last week.

Exeter are into their fourth successive Anglo-Welsh Cup final following a 20-17 win over Newcastle Falcons at Sandy Park last Sunday.

There are three changes to the Exeter pack with Toby Salmon and Dave Dennis make a new second-row partnership. Number Eight Kai Horstmann back as captain on his 100th appearance for the Chiefs.

The reigning Premiership champions have called upon experience at half-back with Will crudely and Gareth Steenson replacing Stu Townsend and semi-final man of the match Joe Simmons dropping out of the side. Tom Hendrickson is the final change at outside centre as Exeter aim to continue their dominance across England.
