On the last day of the Cheltenham Festival, there’s usually only one thing on punter’s minds; The Gold Cup.
But as the stage is set for an exciting finish to the 2019 Six Nations on Saturday, bookies are already looking ahead to the next main event in sport this week.
Wales are poised to take the title and the Grand Slam, but England and Ireland are both hoping to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Wales are currently 4/5 favorites to claim the title with William Hill, but for anyone who fancies Ireland to cause an upset at the Principality this Saturday can get odds of 10/11 on no Grand Slam winner.
Bookies are still offering odds of 11/10 for England to win the tournament, for those hoping Ireland can deny Wales before England claim victory against Scotland.
“England are well in with a shot of winning the Six Nations and there is every chance Ireland could give them a helping hand”
said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
If you fancy the underdogs, Ireland are currently 14/1 to make a late surge from third to first with victory over Wales, and hoping that Scotland can overpower England.
Here are the odds for each match in 80 minutes:
11/4 Italy; 3/10 France; 25/1 draw
4/5 Wales; 6/5 Ireland; 20/1 draw
1/14 England; 8/1 Scotland; 33/1 draw
