Scotland Women’s Six Nations fixture with France at Glasgow’s Scotstoun Stadium on this afternoon has been postponed indefinitely, after a Scottish player was diagnosed with coronavirus.
The unknown player is being treated in “a healthcare facility but is otherwise well”, says Scottish Rugby, while seven members of the Scotland playing and management staff have been put in self-isolation.
This is Scotland women’s second match to be postponed at this years championship after their last game, in Rome, was called off over coronavirus fears.
The squad had already travelled to Italy when that match, which was due to take place in Legnano, north-west of Milan, was cancelled just hours before kick-off on 23 February.
Scotland men’s fixture against France at Murrayfield on Sunday will “continue as scheduled”.
