It was a busy weekend of rugby this weekend with the return of the Gallagher Premiership and the ongoing Autumn internationals. There were many good tries that were scored, but I have chosen five that impressed me the most from the Home Nations and the Premiership teams.
Ollie Thorley (Gloucester Rugby) vs Leicester Tigers:
OHH WHAT A TRY!! 😍😍😍
Big Ben Morgan with the step!? 😱
Thorley with the afterburners! ⚡️Absolutely unreal from @gloucesterrugby! What a performance! pic.twitter.com/EpiXxS6Nc3

Just watch the video and you will know why this try has made the list. Brilliant from Ben Morgan to find Ollie Thorley and he does the rest, storming through the Leicester defense for an impressive score. A possible try of the season contender.
Ollie Sleightholme (Northampton Saints) vs Wasps:
Welcome to the #GallagherPrem @olliesleights 🙌
Sensational first touch from the 18-year-old to score on debut 💪
Perfect start from the @SaintsRugby man 🔥 pic.twitter.com/8EzQmTh0Yc

Debuts can’t get much better than scoring a try on your first time playing for your club. Brilliant speed from the 18 year old to go over with one of his first touches in Premiership Rugby.
Aled Davies (Wales) vs Tonga:
One of many tries Wales scored in their 74-24 victory over Tonga at the weekend. It was also Aled Davies’ first ever try for Wales.
Some brilliant build up play by Wales set up Davies to go over. This was Wales’ eighth try of the day.

Byron McGuigan (Sale Sharks) vs Saracens:
Just look at that flick 👀
Sensational from @SaleSharksRugby Rob du Preez to set up @ByronMacG 💪#GallagherPrem pic.twitter.com/fZio8d2nLv

Who would have thought a slightly wild pass would result in a try? In this case Rob du Preez’s lofty pass to Byron McGuigan was actually perfect for McGuigan to go over. Brilliantly taken pass and try by the Northampton winger.
Hamish Watson (Scotland) vs South Africa:
Some great work from Stuart Hogg to get a line out very close to the Springbok’s line. Watson storms through the line out to claim the ball and goes over. (Looks more impressive than what I have just described. Words can’t really do this much justice.)
