Harlequins make three changes heading into their encounter against closest pool rivals Gloucester.
Dave Lewis comes in at scrum half, while Jack Clifford returns at flanker. Francis Sali starts at inside centre in place of Ben Tapuai.
The Cherry & Whites make no changes to the starting XV that lost away to Bristol Bears last weekend.
Ollie Thorley will be in the starting line up having been released by England. Jake Polledri has been called up by Italy, so Lewis Ludlow takes his place on the bench.
Harlequins have won their last five Gallagher Premiership matches since their defeat at Leicester Tigers in December last year. They haven’t won six in a row since the 2011/12 season.
The last time Harlequins lost at home at the Stoop was against Saracens back in October last year.
Gloucester’s last four matches in the Gallagher Premiership have all be won by the home side on the day. They haven’t won away from yet this year.
Harlequins’ only defeat to Gloucester in their last five encounters was 9-37 at Kingsholm in April 2018, whilst Gloucester’s most recent victory against ‘Quins at The Stoop in Premiership Rugby was in September 2006.
View from both camps:
“We have generated some decent momentum this calendar year, winning our past five Gallagher Premiership matches. Now we want to build on this and be the best version of ourselves this Sunday against Gloucester,” said Harlequins head of rugby Paul Gustard
“Credit to Paul Gustard and his coaching staff and team, they’ve played great rugby these last few weeks and are on a winning streak. They’re obviously a confident side. For us it’s going to be a massive challenge,” said Gloucester head coach Johan Ackermann.
