Rovers turned a disappointing January into an impressive February, and are unbeaten in four in League Two. Meanwhile the Exiles are without a win in six league games, having last won in mid-January.
In the reverse fixture this season, County strolled to a comprehensive 4-0 victory over the Greens at The New Lawn, where the Welsh club’s leading goalscorer this season, Padraig Amond, scored a brace.
Forest Green’s leading scorer Christian Doidge meanwhile has scored two goals in his last three league games, most recently netting in the club’s most recent league game against Crawley Town.
The reverse fixture was the first time the two clubs met in league compeition. The only other fixture between them was also this season, where the Greens ran out 2-0 victors in the Football League Trophy in August.
