Accrington Stanley have defeated Forest Green Rovers 3-1 at the Wham Stadium to solidify their lead at the top of League Two.
John Coleman’s side took the lead early with a close range effort from Callum Johnson into the bottom left corner, which was assisted by Sean McConville.
Forest Green came back into the game after the break to make it 1-1 after 64 minutes, with Reuben Reid firing in from the right side of the six yard box.
Stanley regained the lead and put the game to bed in the last ten minutes with two goals. Jordan Clark scored nine minutes from the end before Kayden Jackson secured the three points for the Lancashire side.
Rovers are 21st in the League Two table, sitting six points from safety.
