Paisley Park won an emotional race in the Sun Stayers’ hurdle, as he finished strongly to storm the field to take victory at odds of 6/4.
There were also two female jockey’s who prevailed on St Patrick’s day. Both Bryony Foster and Lizzie Kelly won their respective races, taking the tally to three for the festival – Rachel Blackmore also won with A Plus Tard in the Close Brothers Handicap Chase.
On top of this, there was added drama on day three at Cheltenham, when 50/1 shot Eglantine Du Seuil shocked the field by winning the National Hunt Breeders Supported by Tattersalls Mares’ Novices’ hurdle.
