Neil Lennon will be suspended from the touchline for the next three matches after being sent off against Kilmarnock.
The Northern Irishman was cited for misconduct and criticism of the match officials, and will be forced to serve another two matches on top of the original ban if he breaks the misconduct rules again this season.
Following Hibernian’s 2-2 draw with Killie last month, Lennon said: “We should be able to send referees off for their performances, instead of managers.”
Hibs sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership, and are undefeated in their last five matches.
Their next three league fixtures see them travel to St Johnstone, before home fixtures against Patrick Thistle and Hamilton.
