Gloucester Rugby are in a run of fine form having only lost one of their last six games in the Aviva Premiership, after they defeated Newcastle 29-7 on Friday last week.
Currently sixth in the table, Gloucester’s next game will see them face bottom place London Irish, who have only won one of their games this season.
Having only lost three times this season, Gloucester are clearly the set favourites on sealing a victory against London this weekend, a game which could prove vital in terms of their league position.
Should Leicester and Bath lose their next matches and Gloucester win, they could potentially climb to third place in the league, which would see them looking very comfortable going into this stage of the rugby season.
With Ross Moriarty set to leave the club at the end of the season, Gloucester may struggle to keep their positivity, with him being one of the club’s strongest players, wins now could be of huge importance.
The next four matches for the Cherry and Whites will see them coming up against teams who are currently residing below them in the league.
Gloucester’s match against London Irish will take place on Saturday at 3pm at Kingsholm.
