Gloucester name side for A League derby

Gloucester United face Bath United tonight in the Aviva A League at Kingsholm.

Gloucester’s side features a blend of experience and youth, with Freddie Clarke captaining the side.

The Cherry and Whites side includes a trio of England Under-20s, with Tom Seabrook, Henry Walker and Aaron Hinkley. Whilst Alex Seville starts on the bench. Scotland Under-20 scrum half Charlie Chapman starts alongside Eliliott Creed at nine and 10.

Experienced first teamers Matt Scott, David Halaifonua and Mariano Galarza also feature for Gloucester United.

Josh Bayliss continues to captain a Bath side full of first-team regulars.

Nick Auterac, Luke Charteris and Paul Grant all start in the pack after not playing at the weekend in Bath’s defeat to Leicester Tigers.

Max Clark continues his return from injury and will partner Will Hurrell in the centres.

Tom de Glanville, son of Bath legend Phil, starts at fly-half.

Gloucester currently sit above Bath in fourth place, but both sides are unlikely to catch the leading pack.
