Gloucester’s new signing Gavin Gunning will be expected to debut for James Rowe’s side as they play their first game since February 8.
The Tigers have had some battles over the last four weeks, but they come in the form of storms, Ciara, Dennis and Jorge.
Rowe’s side will be eager for 3pm to roll around as they travel to Kettering Town this afternoon. The recent spat of cancellations for Gloucester means they sit 20th in the league but with as many as five games in hand over some teams.
Gloucester will be without the ever reliable Spencer Hamilton this afternoon as he has recently been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Hamilton was taken off against Southport on Januray 25 and has not featured for the Tigers since. After a recent scan it has been confirmed that the defender has suffered a fracture on the top of his tibia.
Kettering are in a similar position to Gloucester having also only played 28 games and are just one point above the Tigers in the league, so this is a huge opportunity for Rowe’s side to jump a few places in the table ahead of a very congested March.
