CHELTENHAM ROUND-UP: Bryony Frost makes history as Frodon wins Ryanair Chase

Bryony Frost became the first female jockey to ride a Grade One winner over fences at the Cheltenham Festival as she rode Frodon to victory in the Ryanair Chase.

33/1 outsider Aso came in second, Road to Respect came in third and Rachael Blackmore rode Monalee to fourth place.

Frost was clearly delighted speaking to ITV.

She said: “He deserves everything he has got. Give him a pat.”

The owner, Paul Nicholls went onto add: “That was one of the best days ever. Frodon kept fighting, saving himself, he is a brilliant horse. It is all a fantastic team effort.”
