Forest Green Rovers will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run to six games when they travel to the Proact Stadium to face Chesterfield on Tuesday night.
Mark Cooper’s side came from behind twice to beat Crewe Alexandra 3-2 on Saturday, and currently sit 18th in the Sky Bet League Two table.
Chesterfield sit bottom of the table, but recorded an impressive 1-0 victory over promotion-chasing Exeter City at the weekend.
Here is all you need to know ahead of the game.
What time is kick-off?
The match kicks off at 7:45pm.
Any team news?
There is no fresh injury news for Forest Green from the weekend’s game.
How have Chesterfield been doing this season?
After being relegated from League One last season, Chesterfield have struggled to pick up points in their current campaign, tallying only 13 from their 18 games.
Only Yeovil Town and Forest Green (35) have conceded more goals than them, so there are surely goals guaranteed on Tuesday evening.
Saturday’s win over Exeter is the highlight result of their season to date, with their only other league wins coming against Port Vale and Crawley Town.
Things are on the up for the Spireites though, going unbeaten in their last three league games, including draws with Swindon Town and Carlisle.
Who is their star man?
Striker Kristian Dennis has scored 10 goals so far this season, including five in his last six games.
Only Luton’s Danny Hylton and Jorge Grant of Notts County (11) have more goals, and if Chesterfield are looking to get themselves out of trouble, will need the 27-year-old to keep firing.
Have the two sides met before?
Giving that it is Forest Green’s first full season in the Football League, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that this is the first competitive meeting between the two teams.
