Cheltenham Town Youth coach wholeheartedly “believes” in academy process

Cheltenham Town academy coach Antoine Thompson has sounded out his “exciting” youth team as having the potential to go far in the footballing world.

This fresh sense of optimism comes off the back of 17-year-old Gloucester-born forward George Lloyd making his professional bow against Swansea Under-23s in the EFL Trophy, playing the full 90 minutes under the watchful eye of football league veteran Gary Johnson.
