Cheltenham Town Ladies Looking to Bounce Back

El Glosico is set to take centre stage again this weekend, as reigning champions Cheltenham Town Ladies and Forest Green Rovers Ladies face-off in the 2nd round of the Gloucestershire County Cup at the LCI Rail Stadium. The Robins’ Ladies team agreed a deal to play two matches at their male counterparts’ home back in May, following their cup triumph.

The Robins, who usually ply their trade at Petersfield Park, will be looking to bounce back after they slumped to a 4-1 defeat to Brislington last time out. They may feel aggrieved with that result, believing that they didn’t quite get the rub of the green on the day, despite a spirited display in front of a bumper crowd.

Their opponents also come into tie off the back of a disappointing defeat, as they were seen off by a score line of 3-1 against the Marine Academy Plymouth Ladies at Slimbridge last weekend.

Kick-off is at 2pm, Sunday the 19th of November, turnstile entry is as follows: £5 for Adults and £3 for Under-16s.
