This coming weekend is the Cheltenham November Meeting , one of the biggest outside of the Cheltenham festival.
The meeting starts on Friday , known as Countryside day which is a tradition dating back over two decades where money is raised for the Countryside Alliance and Injured Jockeys Fund, before the races start on Friday their will be lots of different events to try and raise money for both of these charities.
The schedule for the first day is below the highlights being a talk from Martin Kelly and the Trail Hound Race which will see one dog be crowned champion.
11:00-11:05 Trail Hounds Parade – Parade Ring
Head over to the Parade Ring to see the parade of the trail hounds
11:05-11:20 Duck Racing – Parade Ring
We don’t just have horse racing on Countryside day, take this opportunity to see Duck Racing!
11:20-11:25 Trail Hound Race – The Racecourse
Make sure you head out to the racecourse to watch the Trail Hounds run up the Cheltenham hill and for one dog to be crowned the winner
11:25-11:40 Duck Racing – Parade Ring
Did you miss the Duck Racing at 11:05 or just can’t get enough of this display? Head over the to parade ring for more!
11:40-11:45 Parade of winning trail hound – Parade Ring
Go and see the victorious trail hound from the trail hound race!
11:45-12:00 The Dog and Duck Show – Parade Ring
Witness Sheepdogs heard ducks around obstacles. This will be an entertaining display and audience participation is encouraged
12:00-12:10 Deerhounds, Whippets, Greyhounds and Salukis – Members Lawn
This is a wonderful opportunity to see all these dog breeds in one place
12:10 Martin Kelly – In the Spotlight – Parade Ring
Hear some interesting stuff from Martin Kelly, horse racing journalist and broadcaster
13:25(approx. After the second race) Hunt and Hounds – The Racecourse
After the second race Warwickshire hunt will charge up the final straight with their hounds in a spectacular display of this countryside pursuit in honour of Sarah Holman

The Saturday also known as the BetVictor Gold Cup Day is the main event for all racing fans with seven high profile races throughout the day with the highlight being the BetVictor Gold Cup , last year the winner was Taquin Du Seil with the jockey being Aiden Coleman. The Race card is below:
