Former Mansfield Town and Grimsby Town assistant manager Micky Moore has been appointed as Cheltenham Town’s new Head of Recruitment.
The news follows the departure of Peter Johnson, who left the club yesterday after three and a half years at the Robins.
Moore was involved with Mansfield’s promotion back to the Football League in 2012-13 as well as their memorable FA Cup run in the same season.
Cheltenham Chairman Andy Wilcox said: “On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Peter for everything he did for us.
“I would like to wish him all the best for the future and I am sure our paths will cross again before too long.
“Micky came to us highly recommended by respected figures in football and has already displayed a lot of hard work, knowledge and wide range of contacts in the game.”

Moore added: “I’m really looking forward to working for Cheltenham Town. It’s a club I know well from earlier in my career and this is a great challenge for me.
“I have already had a number of conversations with Michael Duff and members of the Board in order to get to know the club very quickly.”
